Christianity and Sexual Orientation explores biblical text and meaning in light of biological/genetic understandings of sexual orientation. The author weaves personal reflections among his explanations and understandings of why some people are gay, what God’s word says to us, the impact of historical understandings, English interpretations of Greek translations, and implications for today’s Christians.Gay (LGBTQ) people must know and understand that God loves them. Rejection, often religious-based, is harmful to LGBTQ people. Sexual orientation is a form of human diversity and we are called to love, accept, embrace, and include LGBTQ people in our communities and churches.

Association of Affirming and Welcoming Baptists                                             As the only organization solely devoted to building the Welcoming and Affirming movement within the Baptist traditions, AWAB has a unique call to be The National Voice for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, and Allied Baptists in the US, and to support the work of Welcoming and Affirming Baptists around the world.
Since 1993 AWAB has been supporting churches in being and becoming Welcoming and Affirming of all people regardless of gender identity or sexual orientation.  We work as individuals, congregations, regional groupings and as a national body to advance the Radical Welcome and Love of God in Jesus Christ through being the Ministry of Reconciliation and building up the Beloved Community where all will be one.

Canyonwalker Connections: Repairing the Breach Between the Church and the LGBT Community
The mission of Canyonwalker Connections, founded in 2011 by Executive Director Kathy Baldock, is to repair the division existing between social and Christian conservatives and the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) community through education, training, encouragement, and dialogue in both secular and religious environments.

New Ways Ministry in the LGBT Catholic Community
New Ways Ministry is a gay-positive ministry of advocacy and justice for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) Catholics, and reconciliation within the larger Christian and civil communities.

Through research, publication and education about homosexuality, we foster dialogue among groups and individuals, identify and combat personal and structural homophobia, work for changes in attitudes and promote the acceptance of LGBT people as full and equal members of church and society.

New Ways Ministry is a member of Equally Blessed, a coalition of faithful Catholics who support full equality for LGBT people both in the Church and in civil society.
